A few friends and I are thinking about picking up black ops III with zombie chronicles on Steam. We're really only interested in playing the zombie maps together online. The game says single player in steam so wanted to make sure that was possible? Searched around on Reddit and keep only coming across threads saying local split-screen play works.

MP-40 is in release videos for Origins, I'm not 100% sure on other maps but the released video for Origins Remastered you can get the Mauser as a starter and the MP-40 as a wall buy. I just picked up the mp40 on kino out of the box. Yup, have played zombie chronicles and got the MP40 out of the box. Shame that it's not a wallbuy on Kino anymore.
